Baby Zara
Donation protected
Baby Zara (and her Mum Sophia) have not left the hospital since Zara was born six months ago. Zara’s condition means constant monitoring and injections to keep her blood sugars stabilized. She needs an insulin pump which will automatically test, monitor and balance her sugars, which will reduce the risks that something can go wrong, and would increase their chances of being able to go home. This pump is not available via Australian Medicare because it is seen as a “luxury” . The alternative is painful heel pricks every hour and then injections several times a day- not nice for a baby who has already been through so much . We need to raise $10,000 for the pump. Anything at all you can spare to help this family, would be so appreciated! Thanks so much...❤️
