Help Bring Dylan Home
It has been over 7 months, but it is still hard to believe that Dylan Elek McFarlane is no longer with us. I consider myself fortunate to call him an absolute dear friend. I speak for all who knew him, when I say, we miss him dearly. Dylan was a devoted father to Olive and Corin, a phenomenal brother to Cayanne, a loving son to Ditsi and Alexander, and a great friend to countless people around the world. His infectious smile could make anyone feel like they were having a good day. Dylan was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. He traveled and lived all over the world, but Alaska was his true home. Dylan was residing in Cornwall, England when he lost his struggle with depression and took his own life. His family plans to bring Dylan’s ashes home to Alaska in August. With such great distances among locations of where Dylan was living, where his sister is stationed with the Navy and where his parents have retired, travel has been complex and expensive. All proceeds from this fund will go towards travel related expenses for his parents and his sister to help bring Dylan home. I am coordinating this with Beth Aune, a McFarlane family friend. We hope to share this with as many of Dylan’s family/friends that we can reach. Please share and contribute if you are able.
We will forever love you and miss you Dylan Elek McFarlane!
