Dawa Needs Your Help With Expenses

Hi Everyone! This is my friend, Dawa. He is 34 years old and originally from Nepal. Dawa has lived and worked in America as a chef for 10 years and was most recently employed at restaurant in Aspen , CO.
While clearing snow from the roof of the restaurant on January 19th of this year, he fell 10 feet onto a concrete slab. Dawa's coworkers found him unconscious and called for an ambulance and was taken to the Aspen Valley Hospital Emergency Room.
Dawa was diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) among other physical injuries resulting from the fall. He is continuing with treatment twice per week and is improving though the TBI and Post Concussive Syndrome are keeping his doctors from releasing him for work which has put Dawa in an extremely stressful financial situation.
I am looking to my community and friends of friends to consider helping Dawa out at this time. He has not been able to work since January 19th and his doctors are estimating that he will not be ready and able to return to work for another few months. Just like all of us, Dawa has many monthly expenses for housing, food and transportation and as a result of this accident has fallen behind on these expenses without being able to be gainfully employed. Yes, Dawa has been receiving worker's compensation which helps but totals a mere $2621.56 per month which just covers over half of his monthly expenses.
Dawa needs our help to get the debt created by this accident paid off and help creating a cushion for the next few months to come so he may focus on his health and getting well so he may return to work.
The funds raised here will be used to pay his car payment, auto insurance, health insurance, life insurance, cell phone bill, internet services, food expenses and credit card bills for the coming three months. His total monthly expenses are approximately $4k and he has over $16k owed from past month's living expenses since the accident and $5k in past due loan.
Thank you for contributing whatever you can to help my friend, Dawa! If you are unable to help financially please help by sharing with your friends, family and any communities you are a part of.
Sincerely,
Kate Papenthien
