5&10 Employee Emergency Fund

Hello friends of Five and Ten, In response to the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to close our doors for the time being for the safety of our staff, guests, and community. Restaurant margins are incredibly thin and unfortunately there is simply no economically viable way to compensate our staff for the hours they will be losing as a result of this closing. This means the 25 hard working people who put so much love and care into cooking for and serving you will be receiving absolutely no income for the coming weeks and will have little to no opportunities for additional work in the food and beverage industry. We have run out of options and are now humbly asking for your help. Any donations made will be set aside for an employee emergency fund. We will not use this money to pay the restaurant's bills, rent, or inventory. It will be used on a case-by-case basis to help alleviate the financial difficulties our staff will be facing in the weeks ahead: groceries, rent payment, medical bills, etc. Athens, we love and appreciate you so very much.
