Ursinia Needs Surgery

Hi guys,

Not in a million years did I ever think I’d be writing this but I figured, “what the hell”. People give money to people dumb enough to use gorilla glue on their hair! I have recently been diagnosed with NASH (Non Alcoholic Steatohepatitis) with stage 3 Fibrosis.

It’s a very hard disease to understand and they have not developed a treatment for it yet. (See below)

Stage 3 – The most severe stage of NASH, the disease deteriorates into full-on cirrhosis or liver cancer. When this happens, the only option left is a liver transplant.

My Dr’s strongly recommend I have gastric bi pass surgery. This limits the work the liver has to do. The surgery won’t take my condition away but it can help slow the progression so I have more time with my kids and grand babies. Unfortunately my insurance will not cover .01 cent of the surgery. I have not scheduled my appointment yet as they will not allow me to do so until I complete the program. I one appointment away.So I have to come with 20k in hand. The hospital does not do payment arrangements either. So here I am

If anyone knows anything about this disease I would love to know. I honestly had no idea it existed. I’m sharing my story and hopefully it will help someone because had someone told me, it’s likely I would of been able to avoid this. My liver is to far along to repair itself and for me the condition is genetic.
