Help Jennifer Beat Breast Cancer

Hi all, my name is Serena, and I'm setting up this fundraiser for my dear friend Jennifer. On February 3, 2023, Jennifer was diagnosed with Mixed Invasive Carcinoma Breast Cancer. Jennifer never experienced any symptoms and it was only discovered when she went in for her first ever mammogram after turning 40. Doctors are still trying to determine if lymph nodes have been compromised as well as looking into a suggestive spot in the other breast. After screening for genetic predisposition, it seems that this cancer occurrence sprang up on its own accord.

Jennifer will be going in mid-April for a double mastectomy and implant reconstruction. We are hoping this is a one-and-done surgery. The doctors do not believe that radiation will be necessary and are still discussing if chemotherapy will be required.
