Risks and challenges
Retail in general is a challenge. The book by Malcom Gladwell, The Tipping Point, is a must read for anyone starting a business but more importantly one who is trying to launch a new product. Another inspiring read is Street Smarts by Norm Brodsky and Bo Burlingham. They discuss the challenges everyone faces and how to win.
Being a Dad of 2 kids, a husband, and a full-time employee of the Colorado Avalanche, I'm out of time to launch this alone. Just a little kickstart for a couple extra hands and a couple dollars for a sales and marketing push is what the Puckooler needs to become successful.
We have gone through the majority of the product development process. We have molds already created and we are ready to start pressing for a national level. Your pledge will make that a reality. We have a small but very loyal local retail client base, and if you ask that client base, their customers love the Puckooler.
With a little extra capital, we can produce the product needed for a national launch and hire the staff needed to take it to that level. Two of the most difficult challenges to get a product to tip or become successful is an inside track of the industry and capital. Being as my partner in Canada is an ex-NHL player of 10 years and I've worked for the Avalanche for 11 years, we have the inside track. Now we just need the capital. Then the challenge is where to put that capital. We have an extensive business plan and we would love to share it with you upon request. We've done the research and we are ready to roll. You really need to hold the Puckooler and experience it to completely get it. 4 REAL Hockey pucks stacked to hold your drink is just a unique sensation to the touch. Totally unique and could very well be the next big hockey item.
Most of the NHL Teams in Canada and a few in the US are excited about the Puckooler. You can see a list of clients and partners on the partner page at puckooler.com. http://www.puckooler.com/pages/puckooler-partners. Working for the Avalanche for the past 11 years I know what it takes to get the licensing to sell in the arenas.
We hope you will help us see the Puckooler succeed and a solid product launched in the good 'ol USA.
