Helton Family

As many of you may know, Misty Helton has faced many medical challenges over the past few years. She has battled cancer and had several operations. Through it all, Misty has remained strong and determined that nothing is going to hold her back. Yet again, Misty faces another challenge as the Papillary RCC cancer she has battled has returned to her left kidney. The fighter and planner that she is already has a plan for the upcoming surgery and procedures she will be having. Sadly, Misty is having to put her feelings aside to find a way to have surgery and maintain the life of her family while Dallas works. Dallas works hard and while his job offers FMLA, it is not paid. What this ultimately means is that Misty and Dallas will have to make a choice, if he will be able to be with her for the surgery and the long recovery or go to work. These two are soulmates and she needs him by her side as he needs her. I would love it if we could all come together and give so that Dallas can take the leave he needs to be there with Misty and the family still be financially supported. If you find it in your heart to give, a little or a lot, I know they will appreciate it!
