Laying Jacob to Rest

My mom has had custody of Jacob since he was two, he was not her nephew, he was her son. He was not just a cousin. He was our brother.

On May 14, 2021, Jacob was found unresponsive by his son’s mother. Paramedics pronounced him shortly after.

We are struggling to imagine a world without him in it. A world where his 19 month old son will grow without his dad. My family will never be whole again. My heart will never stop hurting for him. He was only 20 years old.

Jacob is loved beyond belief, and all we’ve ever wanted was for him to know it. My family is not prepared to bury Jacob but we want to lay him to rest with the care and respect he deserves.
