Gator's vet bills
Donation protected
Gator was abandoned by his previous owners and ended up in a Jersey City shelter in July 2013. He was adopted in September 2013 only to be dumped at a different shelter in Burlington County 12 days later. Gator was picked up by the original shelter where he lived until he was pulled by Bergen County Animal Shelter in January 2014. Gator was recently adopted by a wonderful couple in October 2015 after 21 months at Bergen County Animal Shelter.
A couple of days after being in his new home, Gator got very sick and was rushed to a vet. Extensive tests were done and it was believed then that it's liver disease. A second vet is taking a wait and see approach and will retest him in another week. Gator will have to have a toe amputated due to a growth that was previously removed but repeatedly gets inflamed.
We're trying to help out the couple who spent months visiting Gator until they were able to move so they could take him home. So whatever you can spare to help offset his vet bills would be greatly appreciated and allow Gator to live the life he's been so patiently waiting for.
Thank you. And on Gator's behalf, WOOF!
