Amber's Fight

Donation protected
Our sister, Amber Wickard, went to her doctor last year for a mole on her back.  She was sent to a dermatologist, who sent her for a biopsy, and the results showed that she had metastatic melanoma, and it was very fast-growing, and spreading.  This past year has been a very trying one for her, and her family, as she has undergone many surgeries, and even tried immunotherapy treatments,  to no avail.  Her last CT scan showed that the original tumor had grown, and she now has nodules on her lungs.  Her oncologist said there was nothing more he could do for her, and referred her to a specialist.

She was able to get an appointment with a melanoma specialist at Thomas Jefferson in Philadelphia, who told her that, basically, her only option  would be a clinical study at NIH in Maryland.  If accepted, she will be inpatient for 5 weeks in Maryland.  This will cause emotional strain,  but also financial strain, as you can imagine.

Amber and her family, Jeremy, and their two young daughters, Hannah and Bailey, will all be traveling to Maryland.

We hope that this will alleviate some of their burden as they continue to fight this battle.  Please donate, if you can.  Any small amount will help.  But more importantly, please keep her and her family in your prayers.  Thank you for your love.
