Help Florida Student get Gender Affirming Surgery

Hi, my name is Camille and I’m a trans man and a proud new college student, I am embarking on my thesis year soon. My research is focused on conservation and sustainable science and education. My goal is to educate the public and students about the fragility and importance of our native ecosystems. I believe that embracing our native plants and honoring our land is vital to preserving our land's beauty and health. I hope to bring faith and hope to young students by teaching about how the Earth around us can be a safer, more sustainable and more accepting world.
I’ve been saving up for gender-affirming medical care, but because I am a student from Florida, my financial resources are very limited, and I have been selling plasma to make progress towards that goal. I am currently in the position of trying to start my thesis, and the irony of having to damage my body in order to feel comfortable with it led me to seek your help.
Gender-affirming surgery would allow me to finally feel at home in my body as a trans man, and express how I feel on the inside through living authentically. Because the cost is high, close to $7,000, any amount will help me to schedule this before the State of Florida makes it illegal to be yourself. Even $10-20 dollars will help me plan this important part of my healthcare journey.
Thank you, your support of trans students during these difficult times is deeply and greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Camille Reeves
