On Friday, I found myself sitting in the consultation room, holding my mom’s hand tightly as the doctor apologised and told us: Triple Negative Breast Cancer, the most aggressive grade. The weight of those words felt like I’d been hit by a train and the thought of my mom having to go through a mastectomy and chemotherapy chokes me everytime.

As we face this daunting journey ahead, I can't help but feel overwhelmed by the financial burden that comes with it. The treatment she needs is not only time-critical but also financially draining.
