Kicking cancers ass

Hi, we as a friendship group created this on behalf of our friend Abbie.

After finding out our best friend Abbie had been diagnosed with Bladder Cancer, we have been raising money for Action Bladder Cancer UK via our JustGiving page and we have already hit our £500 target, the support Abbie has is truly amazing. To raise this money we will be running the Manchester 10k on 26th May.

We have decided to also setup a GoFundMe page for Abbie. She is the strongest person we know and she is ready to absolutely smash the next few months and kick cancers ass. This will mean that throughout treatment she will be unable to work and go about her day to day activities so we wanted to raise money to help Abbie throughout this time and give her one less thing to worry about. Any donations would be really appreciated.

Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer - it is of the ten most common cancers in the UK - that's 4% of all new cases.

Treatments have changed very little over the past 30 years and research is seriously underfunded.
