Hello family, my name is Coach/Pastor Pete Arciniega Jr and I am the founder of Arciniega Boxing Outreach Ministry located in Lockhart Texas. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our vision is to serve our community by growing leaders and hard workers utilizing Biblical principles and work ethic of an American Soldier and prize fighter.
This vision came to me seventeen years ago as I saw a need for a positive environment for the youth of our community. We started a boxing gym in our garage and subsequently moved to two additional locations. In August of last year, I faced a crossroads and I was left with the thought whether to continue or not as it was time to relocate yet once again. We believe the Lord provided this new location so we believe we must follow through with making it successful by overcoming all obstacles through His wisdom and counsel.
It is my heart to develop productive, educated, Christian citizens as well as athletes and fighters. With the ministry growing I have made myself available to families, fighters, jail ministry, and church responsibilities. This gym never closes we are always making a difference in someone’s life.
At Arciniega Boxing Outreach ministry we are here to help anyway we can, we are more than a boxing gym. Families bring their children who struggle with behavioral and medical minor setbacks such as, weight issues, low self-esteem, anger, A.D.D., A.D.H.D. and many other such issues.
The reason for this GoFundMe page is to basically keep the doors open and the lights on due to the shutdown for COVID19. We applied for relief under the PPP, however received minimal assistance. We will not be deterred by this! We believe that God will provide as we are doing his work. Our heart is to continue to serve the community and help grow the next generation of leaders and pillars of the community. We will continue to go as God leads.
