Cam Levi Lemus

My sons name is Cam Levi Lemus he was 9 years old who was born 12/23/2010.  He was a bright young boy with an amazing personality.  A young boy who had a whole life ahead of him. He liked to play with all his family members. He was such a lovable kid.  On Thursday 07/23/2020 at about 11pm-12am my son Cam was in a terrible car accident with one of his cousins and his auncle. Out of the 3 my son cam was in critical condition. He had no pulse for about 40 mins and when they rushed him to the Northridge Hospital they were trying to revive him for about 15-20 mins and medical team got a pulse but could not breathe on his own due to bruise lungs and a really bad swollen brain. Doctors said they will run tests to see if his brain will respond or see if he can breathe on his own. After the test results Doctors declared my son Cam brain dead. Cam has fought for 4 strong days in the Northridge Hospital until his heart finally gave out.  Doctors wanted us to pull the plug early but we all refused too and wanted to give him a fighting chance. My son Cam has passed away 07/28/2020 at about 02:20 am.  My reason for the gofundme was to help with medical bills and a proper funeral.  Anything would help donate to our family for Cam's passing. We know this will change a lot for our family but we have a new Angel watching over us in Heaven. Thank you all for your prayers and kind words for worrying about Cam and my family. Keep us strong and know I have always loved you so much. You were a creation and a part of me. You were my 1st born and my only son I have ever had. Sorry I was not the best dad I possibly could be but just know I love you with all my heart. Watching you at the hospital was one of the hardest things a parent could go through. It opened up my eyes to a whole new look on life and how short life can be. I will cherish every moment with my loved ones, friends and many others who come into my life.
