Essence's Recovery Fund

Dear fellow parents, friends and supporters,

Our beloved teacher and friend, Ms. Essence, recently found out that she has an aggressive form of breast cancer. Her journey to recovery will be arduous and time-consuming, but we have no doubt that she will persevere.

Ms. Essence's infectious energy and commitment to her students, families and friends have touched the lives of so many, leaving an indelible mark on all of us. Now, it's our turn to rally together and support her in her time of need.

In addition to current cancer treatments and future surgery, she has undergone fertility treatments, specifically IVF egg retrieval. Unfortunately, the costs associated with these treatments are staggering and not fully covered, or covered at all, by insurance. This is where we can make a difference.

We have set up this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to support Ms. Essence's medical expenses. Funds will be directly deposited into her account. Our goal is to alleviate the financial burden that hangs over her so she can focus on her complete recovery.
