Help Raise Money for Car Repairs

Dear friends and family,

I am setting up this page because a family member of mine needs help. Five months ago, the father of her daughter moved out of their place, taking their one-and-a half-year old and all her belongings with him. He

has barely allowed her to talk to her daughter over the phone or in person, and they are in the middle of a nasty court battle to try and get her back. When he left, he also left her with a broken car. She has always been a hard worker and puts in 50+ hours a week at her job and works late hours. When she gets off of work, she must ether try to find a ride home or walk home in the bitter cold temperatures. She now has an attorney and is fighting to get her daughter back, but with not having a car, it is difficult to get to and from work and to any appointments she has. 

We would like to help her out as much as possible, but no specific person in the family has that kind of money to get her car repaired. She is stuck out of state with no family around, fighting to get her daughter back and can't even come back to Missouri for the holidays because she has no car. I just want to put this out there and ask anyone who can help to find it in their hearts
