Homeless and need help

Hello, Sadly, this is the last thing I ever wanted to do. It is embarrassing to admit that my career tanked the last couple of years. I tried really hard to stay afloat, but sadly last summer I had to leave my apartment of 13 years. Because of my financial situation, I was not able to secure a place to live. Family and friends have helped me up to now.

I worked in the comic industry for 25 years and sadly the market and rates have shifted that I can no longer support myself in that industry. I am currently looking for a job that will pay my living expenses. Sadly, I have not found one yet, but I keep trying.

I am currently living in a hotel that sadly ends the morning of Jan 24th. I have been trying to find a job the last month and hopefully will find something soon that I can then find a permanent place to live. The plan is once I find a job, I can then show a future landlord that I am working and then secure a lease. I have started this GoFundMe to hopefully keep me in this hotel until I can secure a job. After the 24th I will be living on the street.

I know with these times, everyone is just trying to survive. And asking for help is a lot for anyone. If you can find it in your heart to donate a few dollars, it will be greatly appreciated. I don't even know if I am doing this right. This is the last thing I even wanted to do. Thank you for your time, and thank you for reading this.
