Isobel Mickey's Road To Recovery

My name is Kelly Malon and my Auntie Isobel Mickey was senselessly run over by a car in the intersection of 4th and Argyle in the city of Port Alberni where she calls home. The afternoon of May 10th Isobel was making her way across the street, she was 3/4 of the way through when she was struck. The driver got out of the car to have a look at my aunt who flew 20ft from the crosswalk, the driver then got back into the car and drove off! She is in serious condition with an arm that has broken in two places, a broken pelvis and a shoulder that will need extensive surgery. I really hope this person comes forward because it wasn't intentionally but you still have to own up to what was done. Until then Isobel will be shipped to Nanaimo for surgery and it's going to be a long road to recovery, I am starting this page so we can all help her with recovery.
