Walsh Family
Donation protected
My friends Rachael Gerlach, Casady Zurek, Christina James, and I are creating this page to help our former Murray State teammate and friend, whose family has been deeply affected by Hurricane Ian. Over a decade ago, Jaclyn and her family moved to Florida to begin their dream of owning a chiropractor office on Sanibel Island and raising their family in nearby Ft. Myers, Florida. They are wonderful people who have lived and served this area for many years.
When Hurricane Ian came through, it devastated their community, left the Walsh family (Jaclyn, Greg, and their two young children) without their business and flooded their home.
Jaclyn and Greg have a lot of work to do before they can live in their home again. They have not been able to assess the damage to their chiropractor business. The island is currently only accessible by boat for search and rescue only (the causeway into Sanibel Island was destroyed). The news states that Sanibel Island "will be out of commission for some time". They have lost their family's income. Jaclyn and Greg need help from their friends as they rebuild their home, business and lives. They would never ask but could surely use your help. All funds donated will be gifted directly to the Walsh Family to help them through this difficult time.
