Education and living expenses for Asylum Seeker

I’m an immigrant who filed for asylum in the UK a few months ago. I fled from my home country after being raped, assaulted, and stalked multiple times and the police did nothing because my attacker was a rich man with many connections. I was forced to leave for my safety because I was going to be unalived and had to cut all ties with my friends and family to start a new life.

 

As an asylum seeker, I am not legally allowed to work in the UK or I will be deported for breaking the law. I’ve been living off the small amount of money I was able to save back home before I was forced to run away. I have enough money to pay for rent for one more month and then I will be homeless until my asylum case is approved and I’m allowed to legally work which can take up to another year.

 

I desperately need money to survive and have gotten to the point where the only way I can make money is selling my body. I’m ashamed I have to come to this but I don’t even have any food in my fridge left and asylum seekers aren’t allowed to use government benefits such as food banks.

 

My dream before being assaulted and forced to go into hiding was to be a pilot and I’m going to follow my dreams so I don’t have to be a SW. The tuition is £100k for the school  which I have enrolled and I’m not eligible for loans because of my asylum status. I want to make videos everyday to show the process of becoming a pilot and share it with you all. I have never seen a black woman commercial pilot in my life and I want to be one of the first.
