Raheens GAA St. Stephen's Day Charity Blitz

This year the Raheens GAA, Caragh, Co. Kildare, St. Stephen's Day Charity Blitz will be in aid of the Pat Smullen Pancreatic Cancer Fund associated with Cancer Trials Ireland.

Pancreatic Cancer is often overlooked, as it is such an aggressive form of Cancer. Over the last 5 years, the Pat Smullen Pancreatic Fund was set up and is solely focused on funding research for this type of Cancer in Ireland. Prior to this fund being established, no Pancreatic Cancer trials were available for patients in Ireland.

Recently, 2 members of our community have been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. This cause is close to all our hearts! We are hoping to raise much needed funds on the lead up to the event and on the day, to support this great cause.
