About: UrUpKid™ will help thousands of prospective young athletes, first responders, and military veterans by providing professional physical and performance training, tutoring, and psychological support. It is our goal to help student-athletes maintain scholarship eligibility and physically prepare them to compete for DIV I athletic scholarships, as well as maintain optimum physical and mental health in our first responders and military personnel and to prevent comorbidities and the risk of suicide.
Recipients of UrUpKid™ scholarships are selected based on financial need. A typical candidate is an underprivileged athlete that needs training, tutoring, and mentoring but does not have the financial means, or social structure, to acquire those services. First responders and military veterans selected must have documented comorbidities or some level of a physical disability that would put them at a high risk of a severe diseased state or mental illness.
Our Mission: UrUpKid’s mission is to leverage its decades of expertise in performance training to help promote a healthier community. It will do this by assisting underprivileged youth, as well as first responders and military veterans, to achieve optimal psychological well-being and physical performance.
Our Goal: It is our goal to help young athletes compete for athletic excellence, excel in academic endeavors, and stay away from drugs and violence.
