Support Fired UPS Workers in Queens
UPS wrongfully fired ten low-wage, part-time workers in Queens, including two pregnant women.
Concerned UPS workers and Teamster Local 804 members are raising emergency funds to pay expenses and to support our brothers and sisters while we organize to get them rehired by UPS.
UPS workers have served our community throughout the pandemic. UPS tells us we're essential, but treats us like we're disposable. Enough is enough!
Teamsters Local 804, elected political leaders and the community are working together to demand that UPS reinstate the ten workers and treat all essential workers with respect.
UPS violated our rights and the union contract. We will win this fight and get our brothers and sisters back to work.
In the meantime, we are raising funds to provide healthcare coverage and emergency assistance, with first priority going to the pregnant workers and parents of young children who have been stripped of their healthcare when they need it most.
