Katie's Cure

Hi my name is Dawn and this fundraiser is for my cousin Katie Willis. If you follow me or Katie Willis you know that she is in the fight of her life. I will share her story in her words:

After today’s appointment, we have confirmed that I am, as we suspected, dealing with Mets to my lung, from my original fibrolamellar hepatocellular (liver) cancer. With that being said, it is automatically considered stage 4, and is inoperable for the time being. We are working on sending tissue from my biopsy for genomic testing, to find the best targeted therapy. There are a lot of great doctors and advocates working to find me the best possible systemic treatment. Please pray that we are led to the right treatment plan, and that my tumors respond. I am overwhelmed and humbled by the generosity and support that I have already and continue to receive For those of you wondering about my wellbeing, I am in good spirits (the initial shock has worn off, and I have officially geared up for fight mode) and, physically, feel as normal as ever. I am hoping that these are good signs for a positive outcome! I promise that I will fight with all I have for this beautiful family of mine, that I cherish wholeheartedly!!!

With that being said all prayers are appreciated as well as any donation you may be able to make to this beautiful family as I know the days ahead will be filled with many medical bills to go along with everyday life of a family of 5.
