Stidham Baptist would like to help the Patterson family raise funds during this difficult time in order to help with funeral costs.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that one of our beloved youth, Hunter Patterson, was injured in an accident on Thursday, April 6, 2023, and then succumbed to his injuries and died on Friday afternoon, April 7, 2023. Hunter was an incredible, athletic, young man. He was always ready for an adventure and was willing to help anyone he could. Hunter had a heart of gold and was often seen with a smile on his face. You could almost always find Hunter in the gym or playing ball outside. Whether it was playing for fun or in a real game, Hunter’s competitive nature always shone through and he was always playing to win. In addition to sports, Hunter loved the outdoors, and outside of school could be found fishing at the river or out hunting in the woods.

Stidham Baptist Church would like to offer our deepest condolences to Hunter’s family and friends. This is a time when our close-knit community must pull together as family by offering our love and support. Hunter will be truly missed by all who knew him, but the impression he left behind will remain in our hearts.
