Sasha Reeske Fight For Life

Those who have had the pleasure of meeting Sasha know truly how special she is. For those who have not please lend me your ears. Sasha is my two year old German Shepherd Dog and subsequently one of the sweetest, loving, caring, incredible furry friend on four legs. About two months ago Sasha was exhibiting signs of lameness on her right back leg. The vet had told me she might be in a little pain due to a partial tear in her curciate ligament. Fast forward to a month later, X-Rays and radiographs show a mass growing on her back right leg to which doctors believe could be A). Bone Cancer or B). Some type of fungal infection.Sasha then quickly began to exhibit signs of bladder problems. While I had high hopes and many prayers, an ultrasound a few days ago showed that there are enlarged lymph nodes on her bladder that could have possibly been spread from the growth on her leg. While doctors could not pin point what exactly the growth could be, we kept pushing to find test results to show us exactly what is going on with our beloved Sasha. Just a few days ago Sasha then began to show signs of neurological pain through a head tilt to her right side. After the doctors at Desert Dunes Animal Hospital cared for her during an over night stay they referred us to take her to the best care possible in California at Advance Veterinary Internal Medicine where Vets across the country come together to preform miracles. While being the trooper that she is, Sasha went through two biopsies, a MRI, and a spinal tap. When the MRI came back it showed four lesions in her brain. We are hoping that these spread of lesions can be from a fungal infection which can be treatable and hopefully not cancerous which has a very low prognosis. The support of my family and friends means the world to both me and Sasha. With the help of my family, we are currently doing everything in our power to save my best friend; however, cost of vet bills and several types of test and medications has proven to be costly. Any and every donation absolutely means the world to our family and Sasha. With all of our paws and fingers crossed we are hoping and praying for a fungal infection that can be treated with antibiotics. Whatever the outcome may be we will not give up hope for my beloved Sasha dog and will continue to provide the best possible treatment we can, to save her life. Thank you for the time and God bless all
