A Hand Up For An Amazing Mom

I am a friend of Shar. Shar would not ask for this, nor does she know, at the moment, that I am putting this together. But if there were ever a mother out there who deserves a hand up, not a hand out, it is Shar. Shar unfortunately was forced out of the house that she and her 5 kids were staying in due to a fire. For the past 3 months she has been mostly living out of her car with her 5 wonderful kids (and one beautiful 10 month old grandbaby). Her spirit is infectious and her level of sincere appreciation and gratitude for all of life's precious gifts, big and small, is inspirational. This fund is being established to help cover the first couple months rent at a rental to be found, and basic needs, for Shar and her kids (ages 20, 15, 13, 11, and 3) and granddaughter. She is going to get back on her feet and going to be able to provide the life she wants to for her kids. I simply believe, as do many others in our wonderful beach community, that a little boost will go a long way.
