Studying Abroad in Italy

Ciao! My name is Makayla, and I'm on a special mission to study abroad in Italy this spring break. 

With my birthday and the holidays nearing the corner, I am wishing for a special kind of gift this year: the gift of learning.

The Educational Opportunity:

I've been accepted into a study abroad program through Montana State University that aligns perfectly with my academic and personal interests. This program offers courses in Elementary Education that will not only expand my knowledge but also provide a global perspective on my studies. We will be visiting multiple cities across Italy, including Pompeii, Rome, Florence and Siena. Along with learning about the rich historical culture of these cities, we will also be visiting Montessori schools and working with students within these schools. The professors and resources available are of the best, and I am beyond excited to embark on this adventure.

While it is typically not in my nature to ask others for things, studying abroad, while offering an enriching education, comes with its fair share of expenses – tuition, housing, travel, and daily living costs. The estimated cost for this opportunity is roughly $4,000. Unfortunately, the financial burden of this endeavor is substantial, and I can't do it alone.
