Be the Voice (those who no longer have a voice)

Donation protected
May 2016, Birdell Beeks became an innocent bystander to the violence by gun in north Minneapolis, MInnesota. After Birdell’s untimely death her family became the Voice she no longer had!

Since that time, Birdie’s (as she was affectionately known) daughter, Bunny Beeks vowed to continue the fight not only for the sake of Birdie but for other families whom have lost loved ones to gun violence.

Bunny has now started The Birdell Beeks Foundation (nonprofit status is in the process) as such, she is creating the collaboration “Be the Voice”. Be the Voice is just that an opportunity for friends, family and community to continue being the Voice for victims who no longer have a Voice. Be the Voice will create a support group in north Minneapolis to help survivors through the process of the pain immediately following he death of their loved one. Not everyone can afford to see a professional, not everyone wants to see a professional - sometimes it’s just having he support of others whom have experienced loss.

The Birdell Beeks Foundation have these Be the Voice T-shirts’ for sale in hopes of helping with location and childcare during group sessions.
