The Butterfield Family

Hey everyone,

It’s time to help out the man that would (and for most of us already has) drop everything to help you out. If it was to move furniture, a sub for softball, a weekend of yard work, a plumbing or patch job, or even to get the party started with his signature wobble… “Butters” is always more than ready to step up and never asks anything in return. Well here is your turn.

Matt will have to have life saving surgery to remove a mass they found in his brain. Once the mass is removed, they will determine the best treatment plan, and will most likely include chemo and radiation treatments once he has recovered from surgery. Since it is so close to his brain, removing it could potentially leave Matt partially or permanently blind in his left eye and Matt will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

All money collected for this fundraiser will go to an account set up directly to Matt, Ashley, Hadley(10), Maeley(7), and Ellie(3). This will help to cover medical expenses, Matt’s treatment, travel/lodging to and from appointments, and help cover bills until they are able to return to work.

This is shocking news for anyone to receive, but with Matt only being 38, so full of life, and having such a young and growing family, we are totally blindsided.

We are confident with your help, not only will Matt receive the exact treatment he needs to heal, he and his family won’t be financially devastated with these expenses for the rest of their lives.

This is our time to return all of the kindness, love, and time away from his family so he can help yours, that he has given us over the years.
