Help Kenny & Conan
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I’m funding for Kenny and his pup Conan. Kenny is a Navy veteran who dutifully served his country for many years. He recently discovered that he has a degenerative bone disease and within 6 months he lost the use of his legs and his ability to work.
The VA has been HORRIBLE and has failed to provide the care he so desperately needs. For that reason, he’s racked up crazy medical bills from having to go to the ER and being hospitalized before the VA would authorize his treatment.
On several occasions they’ve promised to send an in home aid to help him throughout the day, only for no one to show up when scheduled. The last girl they sent canceled on him because she claimed she was scared to drive in the rain.
Kenny and Conan are currently living in an extended stay motel room and in addition to Kenny’s debilitating health issues, Conan also has a severe hernia, which can only be treated with surgery. Conan’s hernia remains untreated since Kenny lacks the funds needed to get the surgery for him.
Before becoming shockingly paralyzed from the waist down, Kenny was a super active guy who went to the gym frequently, met and exceeded the physical demands of his job and would never hesitate to help a friend in need. In fact, less than a year ago he helped my sister and her husband move into their new place. My mom was there helping as well and described him as, “a total work horse!”
Although Kenny has lost the ability to provide his loved ones with any physical help, his heart couldn’t be more kind and giving! I picked him up after his last hospitalization and even with next to nothing he still offered to buy me dinner. All in all, Kenny is just a super solid guy who got a sh*t hand, but through it all he remains positive, hopeful and prayerful.
I’m creating this go fund me in hopes that there are a few good samaritans out there who are willing and able to help Kenny and Conan get the care and support that they need. Your contribution will go towards both Kenny and Conan’s medical expenses as well as their living expenses.
Thank you in advance for your generosity!
