My name is Daniel and I am trying to collect donations for my wife, Leni. She fell ill with SIBO a few years ago and the situation is slowly but surely getting worse.

Leni became ill 7 years ago, it all started with erosive gastritis (inflammation of the stomach lining), which over time led to further problems, namely dysbiosis, also known as SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth).

In SIBO, too many bad bacteria build up in the small intestine and then later in the large intestine, causing problems such as heartburn, diarrhea, nutrient deficiencies, food intolerances, etc.

Years passed before she was finally diagnosed with SIBO. Her SIBO was treated with antibiotics to reduce the bad bacteria. But instead of getting better, she only got worse. Further treatments with antibiotics and medication followed, which again led to gastritis and were unsuccessful. Instead of getting better, she is only getting worse and hardly able to stand up anymore, walk, ad especially not work. Her situation seems absolutely hopeless and the problem is, we have tried countless treatments so far and nothing has worked.

By now traditional doctors and gastroenterologists are simply clueless what to do and we are desperate, as her overall shape is deteriorating quickly. It is urgent, that she gets another treatment.

And there might be a solution.

First would be a treatment with phages in a special clinic in Tiflis, Georgia, but depending on the effort involved, this could cost up to €50,000, because they will mix a virus in a lab to kill the SIBO bacteria, which were previously resistant to everything. The stay in Georgia would last several weeks.

In order to rebuild the intestinal flora afterwards, she would need FMTs (Fecal Microbiota Transplant). A treatment costs around 1800€ per month, she would certainly need 6 months or more.

In short, the financial challenge is too great to take on alone.

mein Name ist Daniel und ich versuche, Spenden für meine Frau Leni zu sammeln. Sie ist vor ein paar Jahren an SIBO erkrankt und die Situation verschlimmert sich langsam aber sicher.

Leni wurde vor 7 Jahren krank, alles begann mit einer erosiven Gastritis (Magenschleimhautentzündung), die im Laufe der Zeit zu weiteren Problemen führte, nämlich einer Dysbiose, auch bekannt als SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth).

Bei SIBO sammeln sich zu viele schlechte Bakterien im Dünndarm und später auch im Dickdarm an, was zu Problemen wie Sodbrennen, Durchfall, Nährstoffmangel, Nahrungsmittelunverträglichkeiten usw. führt.

Es vergingen Jahre, bis bei ihr schließlich SIBO diagnostiziert wurde. Ihr SIBO wurde mit Antibiotika behandelt, um die schlechten Bakterien zu reduzieren. Doch anstatt besser zu werden, ging es ihr nur noch schlechter. Es folgten weitere Behandlungen mit Antibiotika und Medikamenten, die wiederum zu Gastritis führten und erfolglos waren. Statt besser zu werden, geht es ihr nur noch schlechter und sie kann kaum noch aufstehen, gehen und schon gar nicht arbeiten. Ihre Situation scheint absolut hoffnungslos und das Problem ist, dass wir bisher unzählige Behandlungen ausprobiert haben und nichts geholfen hat.

- Sie verträgt nur noch 8 Nahrungsmittel,

- Sodbrennen,

Arbeiten geht schon lange nicht mehr und mittlerweile ist auch kein Geld mehr da für die Behandlungen.

Aber es gäbe vielleicht eine Lösung.

Zuerst eine Behandlung mit Phagen in einer Spezialklinik in Georgien, je nach Aufwand könnte das allerdings bis zu 50.000€ kosten, denn dort wird ein Virus angemischt, um die SIBO Bakterien zu töten, die bisher resistent gegen alles waren. Der Aufenthalt in Georgien würde mehrere Wochen dauern.

Um die Darmflora danach wieder aufzubauen, bräuchte sie FMTs (Fecal Microbiota Transplant, eine Stuhltransplantation). Eine Behandlung kostet rund 1800€ pro Monat, sie bräuchte sicher 6 Monate oder mehr.

Kurzum, die finanzielle Herausforderung ist zu groß, um sie alleine zu stemmen. Wir danken allen, die etwas spenden, um sie auf ihrer Heilreise zu unterstützen.

Leni si è ammalata 7 anni fa, tutto è iniziato con una gastrite erosiva (infiammazione della mucosa gastrica), che nel tempo ha portato a ulteriori problemi, in particolare la disbiosi, nota anche come SIBO (sovraccrescita batterica dell'intestino tenue).

Con la SIBO, troppi batteri cattivi si accumulano nell'intestino tenue e poi nell'intestino crasso, causando problemi come bruciore di stomaco, diarrea, carenze nutritive, intolleranze alimentari, ecc.

Passarono anni prima che le venisse diagnosticata la SIBO.

La SIBO è stata trattata con antibiotici per ridurre i batteri cattivi. Ma invece di migliorare, peggiorò. Seguirono ulteriori trattamenti con antibiotici e farmaci, che portarono nuovamente alla gastrite e non ebbero successo. Dopo più di un anno di trattamento, la paziente non fa che peggiorare.
