Help Opie walk again

Hi, my name is Amy Morningstar and I am fundraising for Opie Wilson, 4-year-old Dapple Dachshund. Pet and best friend of Brian Wilson.

We are requesting funds for a surgery to help Opie walk again. He was attacked while he was tied up on his run in his own yard. He was bitten in the rear end with two puncture wounds and injuries. Shortly after that attack, he lost sensation and became paralyzed. He has no control over his back legs and bowels. There were two options given to us. A very costly surgery... Or, crate/strict confinement with steroids & medication. With no improvement, the vet suggested that he have the surgery ASAP if possible, for the best outcome.

Any and all of the funds donated will be used towards his surgical care. We were quoted $6-$8,000 and the success rate of the surgery is over 90%.

We do not take it lightly asking for help... But we and Opie appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts and paws.
