Hello, to everyone who have poured into our family, The COFER family, for all these many years, since 2007 till now. We are sons and daughters of Our heavenly father, who have been kept here on this earth by the many promises of Jesus, the living word of God. The Scriptures of Psalms 41 (AMPC) which has given to us five days before we had to take my husband, a former outside linebacker of Detroit Lions, to emergency.EZEKIEL 16:6 (NKJV) was given to us only 30 minutes before doctors arrived to tell us that they had found the disorder in Michael’s blood.In obedience to the leading of GOD, an elderly couple, PAPA AMOS and MOM JERI pressed their, way to EMORY University Hospital before the doctors arrived. They gave us Ezekiel 16:6(NKJV) on September 28, 2008.Papa Amos and Mom Jeri, gave us this scripture, Ezekiel 16:6 (NKJV) and it reads: “I WAS PASSING BY AND I SAW YOU STRUGGLING IN YOUR BLOOD “ LIVE” ,YES I SAY IN YOUR OWN BLOOD “LIVE”!We are here only because of God’s promises to OUR family and every promise of God, we share those same promises with you!Psalm 41 speaks of an evil disease that has hit a man and everyone thinks he shall never rise from his bed again.Primary Amyloidosis is an evil terminal blood disorder that originates from abnormal blood cells that produce abnormal proteins that go and attack all major organs of the body. In my husband’s case, it had attacked his heart, kidneys, liver, digestive system and his circulatory system.Rift now, my husband and I are moving to AUGUSTA to live closer to family for we both need help physically.Michael, my hubby is on Kidney Dialysis 3 times a week and I, his Wife is in Fayetteville, GA receiving chemo for second return of metastic BREAST CANCER.MICHAEL and I are still here on this earth because of GOD’s promises which are all “YES AND AMEN” and givers like you, our family, our neighbors since 2007, our church family, Faith CHRISTIAN Center, Linked Up CHRISTIAN Church and Prevail, a ladies prayer group who gather every week to pray for others. They have been so faithful in sustaining us!We also want to thank our oldest son, Michael Isaiah Cofer, who forfeited his basketball scholarship at TALLAHASSEE Community College , to stay home for 3 years , to take care of us, his father and his mother.He allowed his brother, Philip Michael Cofer to continue playing for Florida State University. We as a family, stand believing everything Jesus told us to believe until we see Him face to face in Heaven!You, who have sown into our family in the past present and future. We faithfully pray for you and your children that you would not experience the physical, financial, mental and spiritual challenges that we have experienced throughout all these years. We only pray that you experience the faithfulness of Our Lord, Savior and Healer, CHRIST JESUS!My friend, Debbie Martin, handed me the pen, but it is all Truth!Yes, thank you for every kindness shown to our family and every obedience to our Heavenly Father, to read this lengthy novel!Thank you for reading!
