Maintaining Unknowncountry

Please do not donate to this GoFundMe. We have fixed our website and no longer need funding to do so. If you would like to donate to the site's upkeep instead of subscribe, use this GoFundMe: https://www.gofundme.com/f/unknowncountry-website. If you want to subscribe, go to Unknowncountry and do so there.
We have been trying to deploy a new Unknowncountry.com for 3 years. It's a huge site on an old platform, which makes it slow work, but we are nearly finished. The main reason it has taken so long is that the new site has been destroyed three times since we started trying to make the move. In the meantime, because of the way the old site has been hacked, it cannot accept new subscriptions and current subscribers don't get informed when their credit cards need renewal, BUT they can still enter the site, so they can have no idea that they're not up to date. Even if they do know, they can't update their card information anyway.
To fix this, we need to almost completely rebuild the old site. Obviously, going to a new and more secure one makes the most sense, but I have to say that somebody apparently does not want that to happen.
I have hired the same developer that Linda Moulton Howe uses, and he is an expert in security. She has not been hacked since she hired him. Please help me with this last hurdle. If you are a subscriber and no longer paying, give us a boost here. If you just care about this wonderful site continuing, now's the time to step up. We need another $5000.
