Help multicultural touch rugby team play in Euros

Hello everyone!

We are a touch rugby team called Scambio di Lingue (Language Exchange in English) and we need your help to make our dreams come true.

Based in Padova in the Italian northeast, the Scambio is a mixed multicultural team made of up young men and women from all over the world.

Our mission from the start has been to promote tolerance and solidarity between people of different nationalities, both on and off the pitch. And guess what, we're pretty good at it!

So good, in fact, that we have been invited to compete in this year's European Touch Rugby Championships for Clubs which will be held in Spain on the 26th/27th of November 2022.

The two-day event is similiar to the Champions League of football in that the best clubs from across Europe will all battle it out to decide who the champions are.

By finishing third in the Italian championship last season with a squad of over 15 different nationalities, we proved that diversity and inclusion can be a recipe for success.

And now we hope to go one further and bring this very unique group of young men and women to Spain in order to compete against the best in Europe whilst all the while promoting our values of solidarity and respect.

But we'll need a little assistance from you, our friends, if that is to become a reality.

A helping hand of €5000 will allow us pay for flights, accommodation and the tournament enrolment fee for 14 players, young men and women who won't otherwise be able to fund the expenses from their own pockets.

We know times are tough for everyone right now, so any generosity at all will be greatly appreciated.

Even a little can go a long way.

And if we do manage to get there, we know we'll do you proud.
