Top Surgery

UPDATE: I have decided to face one of my biggest fears and abseil down the National Lift Tower in Northampton which happens to be the tallest tower in the world to abseil down. I’m hoping this will help me reach my goal! ️‍⚧️❤️

Hi my name is Ritchie. I came out to my friends and family in August 2023 but have known since I was very young that I was different.

Not many people know this but the issue for trans people is huge - the waiting list in Scotland to be seen is 5-7 years and that is only to get an initial consultation - you need 2 or 3 appointments to discuss hormones and your treatment plan which could take nearly 10 years.

My goal is to get top surgery to ensure that I can live my life as the real me. I would and will try and save as much as I can but in reality the likelyhood that I will raise 10,000 pounds alone is unlikely given that I have to self fund my hormones and blood tests despite GPs being encouraged to provide bridging prescriptions.

I am not pleading to people but just saying if you can help I would appreciate anything that anyone can put towards my cost. It is a long road and every little helps.
