Julie and Family

Hi Everyone,

My name is Danielle and I am here to tell you about one of the most beautiful families I have ever known.

Julie and her 3 grown up children, Dan, Hollie and Hannah are incredible. They have the most beautiful hearts and would give anything to help others. I have taken it upon myself to now ask others for help for THEM, Here is their story…

Three weeks ago Dan, a fit and healthy firefighter suddenly began struggling to breathe and was eventually admitted to hospital where he continued to struggle with huge dips in health for 6 days. On the 6th day Dan stopped breathing entirely. He was intubated and stayed under sedation and intubation in the intensive care unit being fed through tubes, in a state of unconsciousness and with his family and girlfriend being told to prepare for the worst.

His wonderful sisters, mum and Girlfriend Yasmin have been by his side day and night.

Dan is currently breathing on his own but he is still being fed through tubes, cannot move and is often not lucid. He IS making improvements daily which the family are so incredibly thankful, however this is going to take time.

Dan’s mum has effectively lost her job due to absence and his sisters who live with her have been unable to work lately through not wanting to leave their brothers side, this also means they’ve paid parking, food and drink and public transport charges every day.

Dan's daughter Olivia, who is just 5 years old is currently residing at her mum's full-time instead of her being able to co-parent as usual and all of these things add up.

Financial worries should not be on their list right now and so I am calling in the troops.

Whether you have £10 or £1 every tiny little bit helps, Dan has a long road ahead of him and Julie and the girls should be free to care for him and as he held my hand this evening he asked me to take care of his mum because and I quote “I can’t right now” and so this is me attempting to do that.

The family and Yasmin would also like to say a huge thank you for even reading this, A huge thank you to those who are praying and have sent kind words, Daniel is so very loved and its incredible to see
