Funeral Services for Angel Chavira

My older brother Angel had a vibrant personality. As the eldest of 3 and my mother's only son, he had to be responsible and strong willed, but that never stopped him from being the life of the party. Angel could capture a room of people like no one else. He was incredibly witty and the entire family laughed when he was around.

On June 21st 2022, after only turning 31 a month before, Angel was shot while driving home. He was rushed to the hospital immediately, but was unfortunately pronounced braindead by the next morning. A decision was made to donate his organs, and although we are devastated to lose one of the most impactful people in our family, we take some solace in knowing his heart will continue to beat for someone in need.

It's difficult to put losing a sibling into words, especially when everything feels so sudden. In May we had just celebrated my sister's wedding as well as our cousin's graduation as a family. If we had known these would be some of our final moments with him, we would have cherished them so much more.

Leaving behind his 3 year old son Blue, Angel had just celebrated Father's Day and we had no idea it would be his last one. Angel prided himself in being a fantastic father and a hardworking man. Everyone who knew him made sure to comment on it at some point. He was Blue's biggest hero, and now he is gone.

We are hoping to raise money for his funeral expenses. Anything remaining will go towards Blue and my sister in law for anything they might need in the future. Whatever can be given will be greatly appreciated.
