My father would be completely against me doing this because he was such a giving man and never wanted or expected anything from anyone else...
My father, Ezra Carew Runyon, passed away Tuesday morning October 6, 2015.
Unfortunately his life insurance policy was not effective for another year and my family is trying very hard to pay for his funeral arrangements.
My father was a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army (retired after serving 24 years). Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting him quickly learned that he cared about others more than himself. His corny sense of humor was sure to brighten anyone's day and as a child I grew up with laughter and good times even though we never had much. He spent his younger years defending our country and his adult years caring and providing for so many.
Every dollar means the world if you can afford to help my family in this very troubling and emotional time.
