Camelid Medical Expenses - Dental and more!

Earlier this year, Chili, one of our young Trekking Llamas, badly needed dental surgery for a split lower rear molar that had caused an abscess right through her cheek ... and it has been successfully completed!

Since that time, Angelique, another of our outstanding Trekking Llamas, has been treated for a large abscess on her back, and subsequent bacterial and fungal infections .... she's almost clear now after 4 months of treatments.

Our herd Matriarch, Dolly Llama, is aging and has advanced arthritis and back / joint problems that are beginning to restrict her mobility and quality of life significantly.

Dusty, the Lead Llama on our Trekking Team, is also beginning to experience aging aches and pains as she grows older.

All of the 65 to 70 animals in our care at any given time require more care as they age, in particular from our Veterinarians.

All this said, we need to raise $5,000, to cover these ongoing medical expenses, treatments and after care by our amazing local vets at Perth Veterinary Clinic.

We gratefully accept any size of contribution to help us meet a high standard of care for the animals in our charge.
