5Rhythms Float:Sweat Your Prayers at Dance Parade!

Dear Friends of the 5Rhythms Community,
Peter Fodera and I are thrilled to lead our dancing tribe in the 13th Annual Dance Parade this year! This will be the 5Rhythms 10th anniversary in the parade and we welcome you to join us dancing down Broadway and across Saint Marks!
This year the parade's theme is MOVEMENT OF THE PEOPLE which recognizes the vital role dance serves for health and culture. With over 80 unique styles it includes everyone: All peoples and cultures, all rhythms and styles and all ages.
We will bless the parade and thank the Lenape tribe, acknowledging Mannahatta as their land. Broadway was actually an old Lenape trail and Astor Place was where the Lenape brought their tribes together and is a fitting stage to host our Grand Stand.
We are asking for your support to raise money for a fully decorated PARADE FLOAT! And we have great perks to help make this happen.
* Contributors giving $20 and above will get a shout-out on our social media page.
* Contributors giving $35 and above will get commemorative Dance Parade fridge magnets.
* Contributors giving $75 and above will be able to sign up for a free 5Rhythms class.
* Contributors giving $100 and above can ride with us on our parade float (first come, first on!)
* Contributors giving $150 and above will get a Raven Recording album download of their choice.
* And as an added bonus, the first contributor who donates $500 or above will receive a pair of tickets to the hit Broadway musical "The Prom"!
New York Magazine calls "The Prom" “smart and big-hearted” and The New York Times declares a Critic’s Pick! It’s a new musical comedy about big Broadway stars, a small town, and a love that unites them all.
Your contribution will enable us to secure a beautiful float package that comes with liability insurance, a sound system to amplify our drums and a tow vehicle to pull a 28+ foot parade float.
All proceeds in excess of our cost will be donated to 5Rhythms Reach Out, a 501(c)3 non-profit charity that provides 5Rhythms dance to hospitals and community centers.
