Help my dad fight cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Kunj Joshi - I am an immigrant who came to Canada as an international student 5 years ago with a dream to make the best out of my life. I worked extremely hard to support my family and just started my career in the Supply Chain Industry.

However, currently, my dad has been fighting cancer. He was diagnosed with Stage 3 Chronic Myeloid Leukemia(Blood Cancer) and now the doctors have advised him to undergo an immediate bone marrow transplant. Currently, he is undergoing chemotherapy sessions to control the germs blast at HOCC hospital in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

I had to leave my job and rush back to India as I am the only matching donor for him to give him my bone marrow. This surgery costs more than 70,000 CAD and we may even have to do this surgery more than 1 time based on the success rate.

Because I am unable to work now as I had to take care of my family in India, my income has completely stopped and I do not have a lot of savings as a new graduate. I have already invested all I had to his chemotherapy.
