Tami faced cancer (Hodgkins) in 2015 & in 2016 thought she had it beat.. it was in remission.... Yeah!
Early in March 2017 the monster returned to challenge her Faith, Strength & Being again.
It was in Weaver Tower, Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Fl. , where she was rushed by ambulance 03.12.17 that the final battle raged, with of the best team of Doctors in the USA at her side.
Tami was a strong God loving woman who vowed to #FightLikeAGirl and FIGHT she did, all the way through to the end...
Tami's strength, tenacious courage, Love of life and her Faith in God has been instilled to the hearts of her 4 children.

Her admirable spirit has also inspired hundreds of people, myself included, who knew her so briefly.
Tami was a woman with "Lady Smarts", a super & sometimes wry sense of humor & a keen politcal savy.
She touched so many, so fast you'd just feel the underlying magnetic force of a gentle, pleasant gravity, that drew you to her side, to stand with her...

Tami honored me greatly in her acceptance of an offer to set up & manage this site on her & her beautiful children's behalf on March 13, 2017.

Alas, Tami was too weak to fill out & follow the required protocols, and because God claimed her so shockingly quickly...'the paperwork' was left undone.
Therefore, her mom Karen Durling, has taken over the Funding Account, withdrawals etc., & she will be sole arbiter of managing/distributing any/all donations for Tami's Legacy for her four Grandchildren, after funeral costs & related expenses are satisfied.
Your kind donations will provide the $'s for Clothes, Education, College, emergencies etc., that the 'Durling Darlings" will need to maintain a semblance of a normal life after this latest devatating blow to their world...
Tami believed in education & was just 2 courses away from attaining her Masters Degree in Human Resources, clearly determined to better her life & that of her children.

Tami's litte sister Angela, only 16 yrs old at the time, was kidnapped and brutally murdered in 2000, by a monster lowlife who confessed to the deed, and as since been charged and/or convicted of a 2nd. cold case murder of Alicia Eakins in Florida.
Ralph John Faba admits to killing Angela Durling, found strangled
Tami's father's justified outrage was quoted:
"I feel that this piece of garbage deserves to die the way Angela died. And he had better pray that he never gets out of prison, because I will be waiting for him," wrote her father, David Durling in 2003.
Sadly, in 2008 this tough, protective family man David passed away suddenly, once again shattering the Durling Family, & challenging Tami's strenth & Faith in God.

So you see folks, to what at first appears to be merely another 'Tragic victim of the Scourge of Cancer' in Tami's death, it is in reality, a much much larger story.
A story of Faith in God, a true story of Evil vs Good...that constantly challenges us, no matter if you call US, Cda, Aust, UK, Eu your home...
A story of JUST HOW MUCH adversity can one family be reasonably expected to endure alone???
Extraordinary situations call for extraordinary measures...
This family & Tami's kiddies deserve our help, they've endured enough tradgedy alone for far too long....
