Help David fight Cancer

There are many hardships that we've grown to expect in life, but no one is ever prepared to hear that they've been diagnosed with cancer. In June of 2022, my brother David Fox found out that he had a malignant tumor in his leg. Because the tumor was in his leg, and greatly limited his ability to walk and stand, he could not continue to perform the requirements of his job and requested FMLA and short-term disability.

After 3 months of radiation, and then surgery, David rang the cancer-free bell at Cooper hospital. At that time, he was still fighting with long-term disability and was not yet released to return to work. Before he could heal completely, David was hospitalized in November due to a mysterious infection at the surgery site. He spent 10 days in inpatient, while still fighting for the release of his long-term disability funds.

As of January 17th, David still has not received his long-term disability due to the insurance company's negligence and lack of follow-through. They claim it is still processing. Through this ordeal that began in June of 2022, David lost his home and ability to secure a new place to live because he has no income to report to a landlord. As if things couldn’t get worse, doctors recently discovered a new pair of nodules in his lungs. By the end of February 2023, we will know if these spots are also cancerous.

David has been private about the details of this ordeal because that's just who he is. Our family is doing everything we can to support him, and we're hoping that family and friends (near and far) will join us in these efforts. David is a father, son, uncle, brother, and friend to so many. He knows how to prepare for a rainy day, but nobody expects days like these. We appreciate anything you can give to support him as he continues to work his way back to a clean bill of health and financial stability.
