Eric Desroches Benefit Fund
Donation protected
A community planning committee is organizing a benefit to assist Eric Desroches and his wife Bernadine. Eric, a resident of York is a self-employed cabinet maker/carpenter who has had ongoing serious heart and other health issues. More recent complications resulted in additional travel to Halifax for treatment and care. These treatments will be ongoing in the future.
Eric has been advised that he will be unable to work indefinitely and is unable to drive. You can imagine what a financial difficulty this will create for the Desroches family.
Various initiatives are being organized, including ticket sales for several significant items donated by local businesses and organizations. The Draw will take place in May.
A Community Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the St. Martha's Knights of Columbus is being held on Saturday, April 23rd at the North Shore Community Centre from 8:30 to 11:00 am. Tickets are being sold in advance and will be available at the door at a cost of $8.00 for adults, $5.00 for students, preschoolers are free.
The Desroches family thanks you for your generosity and ongoing support.
