The Bus is coming BACK.
You heard that right. No, this isn't some sort of sick joke - your wildest dreams have come true. That shimmering yellow behemoth, renowned for the most electric gameday atmosphere the Irish have ever seen, is making its long awaited return to Notre Dame.
The original tale of The Bus started 10 years ago, when it was purchased by an elite group of O'Neill men with a bold vision for the future. After blood, sweat, and a copious amount of Hamm's, they managed to achieve that vision. The Bus quickly became notorious on both sides of the St. Joe's and soon all of the Irish knew of its greatness. To put it bluntly, The Bus was the most famous aspect of Notre Dame tailgates. It changed the art of the tailgate forever.
Yet since its beautiful inception it has fallen on down times. As a matter of fact, very down times. It died. Shortly after its heartbreaking demise, The Bus was resurrected by another group of dedicated O'Neill men. The second reincarnation of The Bus witnessed the same levels of fame, tomfoolery, and shotgunning as the first; yet due to a massive stroke of bad luck one could only attribute to the devil himself, its engine failed and it was left stranded in the Great Willis Street Abandonment.
Now why all this glorious history, you ask? Just a sad reminder of what once was, intended to make you cry? No, quite the opposite. This is a time to rejoice. The Bus lives. We're bringing it back baby. And we need YOUR help.
Return our beloved bus back into O'Neill's hands! The dream that began a decade ago - of a world filled with joy, united by a common love for tailgating and one giant bus - is not gone, and truth be told it's greater than ever. O'Neill tailgates will never be the same. O'Neill life will never be the same, because The Bus has proved it can be used for much more than just gamedays. Our knight in yellow armor will once again become the center of Irish culture, but don't you worry: it'll still be fueled by that same commitment to rage.

The Bus will be purchased, maintained, and deployed by O'Neill seniors, led by John Denvir. All donations will be used for 1) purchasing The Bus, 2) any repairs, 3) registration and insurance, 4) parking passes, 5) event costs, and 6) maintenance in general.
As a token of gratitude, the names of people who donate $50 or more will be painted onto The Bus!
