Brain Tumors Suck! We need help
Donation protected
(Update: just finished radiation therapy) In December of 2017 our little princess was diagnosed with an extremely rare brain tumor called a craniopharyngioma following a seizure shortly after turning 5. Those first few nights were incredibly scary seeing this giant mass in her brain not knowing what the future holds. We have felt many emotions including terrified, helpless, angry and down right depressed. Suzy is a fighter. She is incredibly strong. She has undergone a minor brain surgery, many nights in the hospital and constant and consistent doctors appointments and MRI days. Seeing how strong she is, is truly inspiring. It changes the way you experience life. Suzy's tumor is no longer stable and has grown significantly. She now has multiple cysts calcifying around important arteries giving her an inoperable status. This tumor is a monster. It will be a life long struggle for miss suz and everyday brings new challenges. The tumor is on her pituitary so when it is removed (radiated-see updates) she will lose pituitary function and will be on daily meds for the rest of her life to help replace the pituitary function. It is a nightmare. Update: unfortunately we started radiation and are currently raising money for unexpected expenses related to her treatment and medications needed. Anything helps. Thank you!
